Located in our Newton, NJ office, our clinic provides state-of-the-art care for patients with chronic lung disease to help them function optimally.

Sleep Disorders
We are affiliated with Sleep Centers at Newton Memorial Hospital and
Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness primarily caused by obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, narcolepsy, and restless leg syndrome. 

Our Physicians

Daya Nadarajah, MD., F.C.C.P., F.A.A.S.M.
Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Sleep Disorders

Dr. Nadarajah is an attending/consultant in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care & Sleep Disorders at both Hackettstown Regional Medical Center and Newton Memorial Hospital. He currently serves as Medical Director of Critical Care at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center and Medical Director of the Sleep Center at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. He is also Associate Medical Director of the Sleep Disorder Center at Newton Memorial.  In addition he is the Medical Director of Occupational Health, and Course Director for ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) at Newton Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Nadarajah obtained his medical degree at Charing Cross Hospital Medical School of the University of London in England, and completed his rotating internship at Charing Cross Hospital, in London, as well.  After his residency in Internal Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, he was awarded a Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York.  He holds the following certifications: The American Board of Internal Medicine, The American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Diseases, The American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine and The American Board of Sleep Medicine.

Mina

Mina Mohammadi, MD., F.C.C.P.
Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine

In addition to seeing patients at Pulmonary Medical Associates, Dr. Mohammadi is on staff at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, and at Newton Memorial Hospital, she provides all phases of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Mohammadi is an active participating member of the Cancer Committee at Newton Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Mohammadi completed her medical education at Ambedkar Medical College and her internship at KCG Hospital, both in Bangalore, India. 

She performed her residency in Internal Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and went on to a Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Coney Island Hospital, also in Brooklyn.  She is board certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine and The American Board of Internal Medicine of Pulmonary Diseases. Dr. Mohammadi was also appointed as Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York in July, 2000.

Madane

Srinivas J. Madane, MD

Dr. Madane began his medical education attending M. S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India.  He performed a residency in Dermatology at N. H. L. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India, and a residency in Primary Care Medicine at Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, New York.  Dr. Madane completed a 3-year Gastroenterological Fellowship at Long Island College Hospital, as well.

He currently serves as attending Gastroenterologist at the VA Medical Center in East Orange, New Jersey, and has hospital appointments at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, St. Clare’s Hospital and Newton Memorial Hospital.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Gastroenterology.


Garg

Rakesh K. Garg, M.D., F.C.C.P., F.A.A.S.M.

In practice since 1984 as an Internist and Pulmonologist, Dr. Garg also has sub-specialties in Critical Care and Sleep Disorders. A long time leading member of Newton Memorial Hospital’s attending medical staff, Dr. Garg held the position
of Chief of Staff 2007-2009 and Medical Director of the Sleep Apnea Center.

After receiving his medical degree in India, Dr. Garg served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and completed a Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. Dr. Garg has co-authored and published several professional articles and currently holds
four patents related to medical devices.

Dr. Garg is certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases,
Critical Care and certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He continues to care for patients through the Newton, NJ office.
